So besides travelling as a blind passenger, Takashi seems to be a shy guy. But will he be able to solve the next obstacle which lies in front of him and solve men's prevailing issue with his swimming trunks? Read all about it in the next issue of TBATB!
(Gosh! Writing the text for http://happynudes.org/comic/space-goddesses went quite to my head. And thinking that all the English I know, I've learned in school and from the pulps... I am quite impressed with myself!)

:) I think that you do quite well. A slipped idiom here and there, but still quite well.

Phew! It least I am glad that out of the about 500 languages spoken on this planet I had the luck to learn the one which became the lingua franca of the internet. And which is also the native tongue of my beloved science fiction authors like Asimov, Bradbury, Burroughs, Clarke, Dick, Gibson, Heinlein, Stephenson or Welles and fantasy authors like Asprin, Lovecraft, Poe or Rice. (No, not Tolkien. He's so, sorry, boring.)

Heh. Tolkien can drone on a bit, can't he? Not to say that I didn't enjoy reading "The Hobbit" and (most of) "The Lord of the Rings", but in parts his writing -is- boring. Still wrote great English works, I think. Also, though, he in no way writes Science Fiction. Heck, Bradbury is pretty much Science Fantasy instead of Science Fiction.
But yesh, being an English speaker is worth a lot these days. I could use more education in other languages and cultures, to be sure, but I'm comfortable with knowing the most popular language of our time. ;)
